Do you know a child or teenager with cancer?
Hi folks
Do any of you guys know any families with a kid that has cancer? If you do this will be of interest.
Cancer Research UK run a scheme where kids with cancer get an award for their bravery.
Here are the details:
Every child nominated for a Little Star will receive an award, as long as they:
- Are under 18 on the date of nomination and live in the UK
- Have been treated for cancer in the past five years at the date of nomination
- Have not received the award before
- haven’t received the award before
All Little Stars will receive a Little Star trophy, a certificate signed by celebrities, a T-shirt and a £50 TK Maxx gift voucher. Their siblings will receive a certificate too.There’s no selection process and so any child that is nominated receives the award.
That’s all there is too it. No sponsorship money has to be raised and you don’t have to run a marathon. It sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t . If you know a family with a kid with cancer please pass them this link.
