O.K. So I may not be a Mum but I find myself as confidante to four god sons by two close girlfriends. Their husbands really don’t want me to share my own tales of ‘daring do’. Truth is an ‘auntie’ who flies a glider, backpacks in China and has been in an Army amphibious craft (ex military) is a liability! The one secret I have kept til now (sorry Mum!) is that I only started my own laundry when I ‘snogged’ someone so hard that I got lichen all over my black raincoat and left half my clothes in their (elder) sisters car!! How would I feel if they did the same? Outraged, of course!!
