What is normal eating ?

Here are some reassuring thoughts about eating…

Normal eating is three meals a day and possibly two snacks, most of the time, but it can also be choosing to continue munching. It is leaving some cookies on the plate so you can have some more tomorrow or it is eating more because they taste so wonderful and are fresh today.
Normal eating is being able to have some restraint in your food selection to get the right foods but not being so restrictive you miss out on delicious foods.
Normal eating is trusting your body to make up for your mistakes in eating
Normal eating is giving yourself permission to eat sometimes when you are happy, sad or bored or because it feels good.
