    Great article in The Guardian this Saturday about a mum who missed her son’s girlfriend more than he did when they split up http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2013/jan/05/i-miss-sons-ex-girlfriend

    But he was 14 when she came on the scene, and it sounds like they were far from just good friends – if you know what I mean. Is that normal? My son’s approaching that age, and I’d be a bit upset if he was in an adult relationship. Am I being a right prude?

    No you are not. I know they have to do these things, but 14 feels a bit soon
